Look What the Cat Dragged In!

Perhaps the only thing cuter than a new lamb is a baby bunny – this one deposited at KN’s feet while we were down at the barn this morning. Bunny (dubbed Catnip by KN) was a tad shocked by the unexpected turn of events, but unharmed. It is recovering overnight in private quarters and will be released tomorrow.

    I am afraid it might still lead a life of danger. It probably didn’t get all of life’s safety lessons before it got caught.

      We aren’t sure if it will be any wiser after its return to the wild… I suppose I should be happy it is drawing the fire of the many predators around here, but then it twitches that cute little nose and I am irrationally in ‘don’t touch my bunny!’ mode…

    Our cats and now our terriers bring in lots of creatures, but nothing that cute. Awww!
