The farm garden at Dark Creek produces potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, zucchini, squash, onions, garlic, spinach, collards, Brussels sprouts, herbs, strawberries, and more. When possible, we grow heirloom and unusual varieties like purple potatoes and white carrots! All of our food is grown naturally and sustainably, without the addition of chemical herbicides or pesticides, though we are not officially certified as an organic farm.
Winter in the Garden
It’s so hard to be patient during the winter months! That’s true even though here on the southern tip of Vancouver Island we don’t really have so many winter months to endure!
