I’m thinking of going to this:
Anybody else going? Drop me a line and let me know if you want to meet up…
I would love to go, but 2,670 mi and 41 hours is a long drive. 😉
Seriously, this does sound like it will be very informative. I trust you will share some highlights?
I’ll do my best 😉
Wish I could. Too far on short notice. 🙂
If you start driving now…
I don’t think you should wait up for me. Thanks anyway. Heck, I’m not even driving an hour and a half to Des Moines tomorrow because of a snowstorm. Interstate 80 is way too risky out in the open with snow and wind and careless drivers.
Excuses, excuses! In truth, I don’t blame you at all for sticking close to home. It’s pointless to risk life and limb if you don’t absolutely have to go somewhere. Stay warm!
Will do. I’ve lived in the midwest all my life. Most of us know when to stay home. Staying warm has been more of a challenge this winter. At the NWS reporting station just north of us…
Dec avg hi and lo of 28 and 8…normals 32 and 15
Jan avg hi and lo of 23 and 2…normals 28 and 11
Feb continues the trend into the weekend at least.
The furnace will deserve a long rest come spring.
Yikes- I don’t even want to think about your heating bill!
Yes. Let’s not talk about that. 😦
I’d love to go!
We have a spare room…
Does sound interesting – look forward to reading your impressions of it!
Maybe see you there?
I would love to go however it’s Ann’s mom’s birthday so we’re going out for dinner. Enjoy yourself!
Have a great evening!

If you are looking for the original Dark Creek Farm blog posts, I've left them over at the old blog rather than doing a cut and paste marathon.
And if you really want to dig back in history, here's the link to the original, original Nikki Tate blog, started in 2001.
