Feeling too sorry for myself to blog but determined to keep my streak going…
Look closely at that chunk of tooth root ( they removed several pieces after sawing through the root a few times) and you will see the glint of metal… a bit of abandoned file from an earlier root canal. They hacked through the file shard as well. Hooray for potent painkillers ( now) and plenty of freezing (earlier today).

I’ve had more than one extraction, but none that involved left behind bits of surgical tools. I’m wondering if you should consult an attorney. That infection could have been really dangerous. Be well.

Thanks for the good wishes… Things are definitely feeling a bit better this morning. The infection had recurred several times and a couple of people have suggested getting in touch with a lawyer…
