I haven’t seen his photos – does he have a website? I did a quick google search but couldn’t find too much…

He doesn’t have a website – knowing Pieter, I’d say he doesn’t have time. He posts them on his fb page. I only found out because occasionally one of his photos makes it onto Parry Bay’s fb page.

Exactly. For the most part the sheep were pretty chilled out. They have their moments where they think maybe they should try to get away, but Pieter very calmly goes still, adjusts his grip, and waits for them to settle down. They relax again, he continues. It’s all remarkably stress free and he’s so quick it’s over before they quite know what happened.

They have to be more comfortable. With those huge fleeces, they were definitely feeling the heat on those toasty days we had. Everyone seems more perky now that they are half naked. Who wouldn’t?

It is really cool to see – and, yes – after handling the fleeces we are all coated in a fine layer of lanolin!

He could make some serious money doing dogs!!

No doubt he could! He’d make a fortune – dog owners would pay way better and he could have the luxury of a table so his poor back wouldn’t be so weary at the end of a long day!
