I don’t think you should wait up for me. Thanks anyway. Heck, I’m not even driving an hour and a half to Des Moines tomorrow because of a snowstorm. Interstate 80 is way too risky out in the open with snow and wind and careless drivers.

Excuses, excuses! In truth, I don’t blame you at all for sticking close to home. It’s pointless to risk life and limb if you don’t absolutely have to go somewhere. Stay warm!

Will do. I’ve lived in the midwest all my life. Most of us know when to stay home. Staying warm has been more of a challenge this winter. At the NWS reporting station just north of us…
Dec avg hi and lo of 28 and 8…normals 32 and 15
Jan avg hi and lo of 23 and 2…normals 28 and 11
Feb continues the trend into the weekend at least.
The furnace will deserve a long rest come spring.
